Former London Youth Games competitors Christine Ohuruogu, Mo Farah and Samson Oni have been selected to represent the England athletics team at the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Delhi on 3-14 October.

Ohuruogu, who is also the patron of the 2010 Balfour Beatty London Youth Games, will be hoping to defend the women's 400m title she won four years ago in Melbourne. She is also the current Olympic champion over the distance.

Farah (pictured) recently won a historic golden double in the 5000m and 10,000m at the European Championships. He will race over the two distances in Delhi. Oni, who team maneged the Southwark athletics team at this year's London Youth Games, has been selected for the high jump.
