Rugby
Rugby is one of the most popular team sports in England, played in two main formats; Rugby League and Rugby Union. London hosts first tier teams in both 'codes' of the sport as well as the Twickenham, the national stadium for Rugby Union.
Tag Rugby is on offer at the London Youth Games. It is a safe, fun and exciting form of non-contact rugby suitable for males and females of all ages and abilities. The Scrums, line-outs and tackles differ from those in the full-contact version to allow smooth, quick play from both beginners and experienced players alike.
A top rugby player will be fit and strong. To beat players when running players will need a combination of speed and movement skills.
