The London Youth Games 2023-24 calendar commences with our single biggest event – Cross Country.
This event is for young people aged 9 – 16 (please see exact DOB and age categories in entry info). To enquire or enter, please contact your local borough using the search field below.

The following age categories are eligible to compete in this Cross Country event for both genders (boys and girls);

Each borough is permitted to have 12 competitors per age category, per gender. This provides each borough with a maximum of 96 competitors.
As long as competitors meet the eligibility criteria set out in the Games Rules to represent their chosen borough, there is no additional criteria that must be met.
Competitors should ensure they have adequate experience competing at the distance listed for their age category and gender.
The closing date for borough’s to submit their squads is;
5pm, Wednesday 8th November 2023.
All competitors must be entered by a council staff member, or nominated team manager in advance of the deadline listed.
Competitors/parents should be aware that the closing date listed is for borough’s to submit their squad. It is advised you make contact to confirm your entry in advance of this deadline.

- Approximate Finish Time: 13:45
- Medals: Ongoing throughout the day.
*Participants are welcome to come in line with their race times however Team Managers must sign in all competitors that they are expecting within the registration time window. All athletes must be at the start line 10 minutes before their race starts.
