Aquathlon is a multisport race involving continuous running and swimming elements.
Competitors complete a swim followed by a run over various distances with the objective to complete this in the fastest time possible including the transition between the disciplines.

The following age groups and respective maximum and minimum date of births will apply to the London Youth Games Aquathlon Competition:

| 11 – 12 years old | 01/09/2011 | 31/08/2012 | Year 7 |
| 12 – 13 years old | 01/09/2010 | 31/08/2011 | Year 8 |
| 13 – 14 years old | 01/09/2009 | 31/08/2010 | Year 9 |
| 14 – 15 years old | 01/09/2008 | 31/08/2009 | Year 10 |
| 15 – 16 years old | 01/09/2007 | 31/08/2008 | Year 11 |
Each borough is permitted to enter a minimum of 1 competitor and a maximum of 30 competitors.
The closing date for borough’s to submit a team and squad entry is;
5pm, Thursday 13th June 2024.
All competitors must be entered by a council staff member, or nominated team manager in advance of the deadline listed.
Competitors/parents should be aware that the closing date listed is for borough’s to submit their squad. It is advised you make contact to confirm your entry in advance of this deadline.
