The following age groups and respective minimum/maximum date of births will apply to the London Youth Games Dance Competition;

| SEND | 11 – 18 years | 01/09/2004 | 31/08/2011 | Year 7-13 |
| KS3 Secondary | 11 – 14 years | 01/09/2008 | 31/08/2011 | Year 7-9 |
| KS4 Secondary | 14 – 16 years | 01/09/2006 | 31/08/2009 | Year 10-11 |
Schools are permitted to bring a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 30 competitors.
Deadline to enter team into virtual qualifiers is;
11:59pm, Friday 31st March 2023
A school must be entered by a School Games Organiser, or nominated team manager in advance of the deadline via the JotForm link provided on rules.
