Open Games
The Open Games is Europe’s largest community youth sporting competition enabling young Londoners from all backgrounds to represent their borough and compete in 27 sports. The 32 boroughs of London and the City of London are our members.
The London Youth Games hosts more activities than the Commonwealth Games, the Paralympic Games and the Winter Olympics. And we do it every year!
School Games
The School Games enhances access to sports for young Londoners, by collaborating with School Games Organisers and the London schools network.
We are committed to making sure these crucial sporting opportunities reach those who need them most.
We offer both festivals and competitions, working to give opportunities to those young people facing significant barriers to activity.
The LYG Finals Festival is the 2012 legacy opportunity for all.
LYG 33
The LYG33 programme empowers young Londoners aged 14–24 to influence youth sport across London.
LYG33 is a youth voice activation and leadership programme
We run the LYG33 programme because we deeply value the voices of young people and recognize the importance of including them in internal decision-making processes.
By involving young Londoners directly, we ensure that our initiatives remain relevant and accessible. Through LYG33, they consult with senior leaders and actively shape the organisation, with our commitment to embedding their influence at the heart of London Youth Games to drive meaningful change.
Inclusive Coaches is a programme providing opportunities to upskill individuals through

GamesForce
The LYG’s “GamesForce” volunteering programme champions volunteering as a way to connect individuals and communities, enhancing opportunities and life chances for young people in London.
Volunteering makes the games possible and enhances the LYG experience for young Londoners.
