  2. Favourite thing about working for LYG? The people – The LYG team, volunteers and participants just make the whole experience amazing.
  3. Best sporting moment? Watching the female GB hockey team win Gold at Rio 2016 (unfortunately on the TV).

Vicky Griffiths

  1. Favourite Sport? Athletics
  2. Favourite thing about working for LYG? Thursday of Summer Finals. There are lots of kids, great sports and great atmosphere.
  3. Best sporting moment? Jessica Ennis-Hill winning Gold at London 2012 Olympics.

  2. Favourite thing about working for LYG? Working closely with delivery partners and NGBs to create relevant and high-quality competitions.
  3. Best sporting moment? When London was awarded the 2012 Olympic Games.

Insight and Innovation Officer

  2. Favourite thing about working for LYG? Having the space to create and deliver projects like London Girls.
  3. Best sporting moment? England Women’s Football Team in the 2015 World Cup getting Bronze in their campaign in Canada.

Cat Hutchinson

Sport Development Officer

  1. Favourite Sport? Football
  2. Favourite thing about working for LYG? Getting to be involved in the provision of such of a wide range of sports and festivals, watching so many young people participate.
  3. Best sporting moment? Completing my first half-marathon raising money for LYG.

  1. Favourite Sport? Horse Riding
  2. Favourite thing about working for LYG? Seeing the impact competitive sport has on young people in London & also seeing interesting sports played at a high standard.
  3. Best sporting moment? Playing Horseball.

Grace Clarke

Communications and Fundraising Officer

  1. Favourite Sport? Netball
  2. Favourite thing about working for LYG? The people! Working with such amazing and inspiring people and volunteers everyday. I couldn’t do it without them.
  3. Best sporting moment? Medal bearing at the 2017 IAAF World Championships in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium and re-medalling Jessica Ennis-Hill with her Gold Medal.

  2. Favourite thing about working for LYG? You get to meet so many great people and there is such a variety in what we do so, it is very exciting to get stuck in with everything.
  3. Best sporting moment? Super Saturday during London 2012 in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium.

Luke Gallen

  2. Favourite thing about working for LYG? Helping to organise high quality events where kids are able to showcase their skills on a big stage which can hopefully inspire them onto greater sporting success in the future.
  3. Best sporting moment? Working at Wimbledon in 2013 watching Andy Murray win the first British male singles title in 77 years.
