Kayak Sprint

Over 200 young participants are heading to Fairlop Outdoor Activity Centre for the London Youth Games Kayak Sprint event. Hundreds of participants from borough teams across London will compete in races across a flat stretch of water, testing their speed against other paddlers in London. The race to the finish line is sheer lung-bursting and muscle-burning effort.

Together, London Youth Games and Chaotic Community are working to make sport more inclusive for everyone. The para cetergory of this Kayaking event and all our ParaGames events are proudly supported by Chaotic, a UK-based competition platform dedicated to supporting families with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Chaotic partners with and sponsors a wide range of community organisations, schools and charities that share its mission. For founder Shana Kennedy, this mission is personal as her son Reyon is autistic.

British slalom canoeist, Richard Hounslow began his journey at London Youth Games and went on to become an Olympic double silver medalist.
