Get in touchOver 380 young participants are heading to London Aquatics Centre for the London Youth Games Aquathlon event. Hundreds of participants from borough teams across London will come together to complete a swim followed by a run over various distances. The objective is to complete this in the fastest time possible – including the transition between the disciplines.
Some of Team GB’s biggest names began their journey at London Youth Games – including the most successful Olympic triathlete ever, Alex Yee. Alex took part in London Youth Games as a young person, representing Lewisham. Since his LYG days, Alex has won two Olympic golds, a silver and a bronze, and has became the first Brit to win both the Olympics and the World Championships in the same year (in 2024).
