Active Enfield is Enfield Council’s Sport & Physical Activity Team that is responsible for coordinating the Borough’s teams for the London Youth Games. Enfield has had a long history of successes at the Games, most notably taking the Jubilee trophy in 1989 as well as placing 3rd in the year of the Olympics, 2012.
Enfield has always done particularly well in Swimming, Volleyball, Table Tennis and a number of ParaGames sports and is hoping to mirror this success in other events they compete in. Active Enfield sees participation in sport as a key priority and year on year it aims to develop teams for sports not currently represented in by the Borough.
