The following age groups and respective maximum date of births will apply to the London Youth Games Basketball Competition:

Each borough is permitted to enter a minimum of 5 competitors and a maximum of 15 competitors per gender.
Each borough is permitted to bring a maximum of 12 competitors per gender on the day.
Each borough team will need to register and affiliate with Basketball England to participate in the competition. This includes sharing data of participants submitted in the squad submission form. The cost of affiliation is £55 per team.

The closing date for borough’s to submit their team entry is;
11:59pm, Wednesday 19th April 2023.
The closing date for borough’s to submit their squads is;
11:59pm, Wednesday 10th May 2023.
All competitors must be entered by a council staff member, or nominated team manager in advance of the deadline listed.
Competitors/parents should be aware that the closing date listed is for borough’s to submit their squad. It is advised you make contact to confirm your entry in advance of this deadline.
