Hundreds of school pupils are heading to Jack Carter Pavilion for the London Youth Games Girls Football tournament for Year 3-4 girls. Teams from across London will come together to play in group stage matches with teams progressing onto the knock-out stages and eventually, the final.
The event focuses on giving participants a competitive and fun developmental experience.
Some of England’s biggest names began their journey at London Youth Games – including Raheem Sterling (Brent), Rio Ferdinand (Southwark), Chloe Kelly (Ealing), Alex Scott (Tower Hamlets), Rachel Yankey (Brent), Ashley Cole (Tower Hamlets), Joe Gomez (Lewisham), Jadon Sancho (Southwark), Reiss Nelson (Southwark), Nathaniel Chalobah (Lambeth), Fara Williams (Richmond), Casey Stoney (Merton) and Lianne Sanderson.
