Over 250 young participants are heading to Redbridge Sports Centre for the London Youth Games Indoor Rowing event. Hundreds of participants from borough teams across London will come together to compete in exciting individual and relay races on rowing machines. The races are sure to get the rowers’ hearts pumping and the crowd cheering!
Together, London Youth Games and Chaotic Community are working to make sport more inclusive for everyone. The Para catergory of the Indoor Rowing event and all our ParaGames events are proudly supported by Chaotic, a UK-based competition platform dedicated to supporting families with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Chaotic partners with and sponsors a wide range of community organisations, schools and charities that share its mission. For founder Shana Kennedy, this mission is personal as her son Reyon is autistic.
Some of GB rowing’s biggest names began their journey at London Youth Games – including Olympic gold and bronze medalist, Mark Hunter, Paralympic gold and bronze medalist, Naomi Riches and GB rower, Callum Dixon.
How can young people get involved?
