Over 350 young participants are heading to UEL Sports Dock for the London Youth Games Judo event. Hundreds of judoka from borough teams across London will come together to compete, aiming to cleanly throw, pin or to master the opponent by applying pressure to arm joints or to the neck to cause the opponent to yield.

Some of Team GB’s biggest names began their journey at London Youth Games – including Olympic Bronze medalist, Karina Bryant (Kingston), Olympic Silver medalist, Gemma Gibbons (Greenwich), Olympians Ashley McKenzie (Westminster), Nekoda Smythe-Davis (Brent), Winston Gordon and British judokas, Kelly Staddon (Barking & Dagenham), Hayley Wills (Barking & Dagenham) and Winston Gordon (Lambeth).

How can young people get involved?

Borough Team Organisers enable the young people to take part. Click here for more info.

Results: Results can be found here after the event takes place.
