The sport of golf was invented in Scotland in 1457.
Golf is an individual and team sport where individuals hit a small balls with sticks called clubs. Golf courses are large areas of grassland that include traps, sand filled pits and ponds. The course can have 9 or 18 holes. The aim of golf is to hit the ball into the holes using the fewest shots as possible.

Schools are permitted to bring a team of 10 participants.
Teams must be made up of a 50/50 split of boys and girls. For this event, schools can be made up of more than one school.
The deadline to submit team entry and a school representative is;
11:59pm, Wednesday 24th May 2023.
A school must be entered by a School Games Organiser, or nominated team manager in advance of the deadline listed on the LYG App (Playwaze).
