Sportshall Athletics Year 8

The following age categories are eligible to compete in this event for both genders (boys and girls);

Schools are permitted to bring a minimum of 5 competitors and a maximum of 8 competitors per gender.

Qualifier 1: Tuesday 7^th February 2023 – Redbridge Sports Centre, Forest Road, Ilford, IG6 3HD – Competing Boroughs: Redbridge, Newham, Havering, Waltham Forest, Barking & Dagenham, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Haringey, Enfield

Qualifier 2: Wednesday 8^th February 2023 – Harrow Leisure Centre, Christchurch Avenue, Harrow, HA3 5BD – Competing Boroughs: Hillingdon, Brent, Westminster, Camden, Islington, Barnet, City of London, Harrow

Qualifier 3: Thursday 9^th February 2023 – Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre, 658 Chiswick High Road, Brentford, TW8 0HJ – Competing Boroughs: Ealing, Southwark, Lambeth, Wandsworth, Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hounslow, Richmond

Qualifier 4: Friday 10^th February 2023 – Westcroft Leisure Centre, Westcroft Road, Carshalton, SM5 2TG – Competing Boroughs: Greenwich, Bexley, Croydon, Lewisham, Bromley, Merton, Sutton, Kingston

Finals: Tuesday 21^st March 2023 – Redbridge Sports Centre, Forest Road, Ilford, IG6 3HD.

Deadline to enter team: 11:59pm, Wednesday 11th January 2023
Deadline to submit school representative: 11:59pm, Friday 27th January 2023

A school must be entered by a School Games Organiser, or nominated team manager in advance of the deadline listed on the LYG App (Playwaze).

Catering

Teas/Coffees can be purchased from the reception in the Jean Brown Arena. The cafe itself will not be open, so please bring any necessary refreshments with you.

PLEASE NOTE: No food or drink (apart from water) can be consumed in the arena in which the event takes place. This will need to be done outside of the sports hall.

Both available in the Jean Brown Arena. We strongly recommend coming dressed for the activity you are participating in and use the changing facilities only if necessary.

Parking

The car park at Redbridge Sports Centre is ANPR. The costs are as follows: Up to 3 hours: £1,  up to 6 hours: £2, up to 9 hours: £8 and all day is £15 on weekdays.

Drop Off: Free up until 20 minutes. You will be fined if you stay longer, so please make sure you pay if you do.

Payment can be made through app, phone or at reception via a tablet using a credit/debit card.
