Did you know that a volleyball player would jump 300 times on average per game?
Volleyball is a team sport contested by 6 players per side and each team tries to score points by grounding the ball on the other side of the net. The team may touch the ball up to three times before returning the ball, but individual players may not touch the ball twice consecutively.

*Boroughs/Team managers should ensure any participant possesses the required skill level to compete in the U18 age group. LYG will not accept responsibility for any participant of a younger age group being injured if playing up.
Boroughs are permitted to bring a minimum of 6 competitors & a maximum of 12 competitors, per gender.
The closing date for boroughs to submit their squads is;
5pm, Friday 7th June 2024
Saturday 22nd June 2024 (Boys) & Sunday 23rd June 2024 (Girls).
All competitors must be entered by a council staff member, or nominated team manager in advance of the deadline listed.
Competitors/parents should be aware that the closing date listed is for borough’s to submit their squad. It is advised you make contact to confirm your entry in advance of this deadline.

There are toilets and changing facilities at the venue. However, we recommend coming dressed ready to participate.
Parking bays, changing rooms, Hoist in changing room, toilets and lifts available.
There is a water fountain at the venue and also the cafe onsite will be open.
Closest Station: Cyprus (DLR)
Parking: Free parking is available in the main UEL SportsDock car park.
