London Youth Games Finals Festival is just 1 day away – and we’re bringing the festival vibes outside the Copper Box Arena with the LYG Community Sports Festival on 6 July!

Get ready for an incredible day of free family-friendly activities, live performances and chances to try out new sports – all part of the London Youth Games Community Sports Festival.

From 10am – 4 pm on Sunday 6 July, you’ll be able to:

Live Music Performances

• Daniele Corbo – Hear indie rock sounds inspired by Noah Kahan and The Backseat Lovers
• Cherimoya – Expect fast-paced drums, wacky guitar riffs and funky bass lines from this energetic funk-rock band.
• Eboni – Soak up soulful R&B and smooth vocals from rising singer Eboni.
• Tafara – Enjoy reggae rhythms with Amy Winehouse-style vocals from this fresh new talent.

Get Involved

• Support your borough in the LYG volleyball, basketball and netball Finals
• YUAF’s iconic double-decker Studio Bus – Get into hands-on music production and songwriting workshops, led by Don’t Stop Your Future (DSYF), in partnership with the Young Urban Arts Foundation (YUAF) and DRIP
• Join The Daily Mile – At 12pm from Eastcross Bridge, you can run, walk or wheel a mile as a family and earn a celebration token at the finish line. Sign up here: https://forms.office.com/e/rdPNXigNRz
• HADO Augmented Reality e-sport – try this high-energy augmented reality sport where players wear headsets and armband sensors to launch energy balls and raise shields on a real-world court. 
• Handball & Dodgeball – Get stuck into these high-energy sports with coaching from Future Kidz Development.
• Boxing & Martial Arts – Give martial arts a go with expert coaches from Fight for Peace
• Football for All – Play a fun, inclusive version of football, delivered by Aberfeldy Project and TIZO
• Cricket Taster Sessions – Get bowling and batting outside the arena with London Sportif.
• Hula Hooping with HulaFit – Give these fun hula hooping sessions a go which will leave you full of energy and feeling good!
• Creative Drumming with Drum Works – Watch a fun and energising drum performance, then join in during an open drumming workshop.
• Face Art & Smoothie Bikes – Show your borough pride with LYG Face Art & whizz up a smoothie with pedal power

Fun & Cultural Performances

• Tropical Isles Carnival – Watch a stunning blend of Caribbean dance and colourful carnival costumes
• Breakdance Showcase – See incredible performances from Amber AMBUSH Williams and Kofi Mingo – then give it a go yourself in a crowd-led workshop!
• Skate Freestyle with Hakim Saber – Witness a unique fusion of roller skating and dance in a must-see performance
