Festival of Sport Unites Londoners This July

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is set to welcome thousands for a full day of sport, celebration and community as the LYG Community Sport Festival returns on Sunday 6th July.
This free, action-packed day brings Londoners together to support their boroughs, try out new sports and celebrate grassroots sport and community spirit.
From 10am to 4pm, families, friends and spectators can join in the festival atmosphere at the Copper Box Arena.
Attendees will be able to cheer on young athletes in high-energy Volleyball, Basketball and Netball finals at inside the iconic venue.
Outside the Copper Box Arena, the festival continues with taster sessions, challenges, and inclusive activities for all ages – creating a buzzing festival atmosphere.
Alongside the main events at the Copper Box Arena, festival goers can also visit the iconic Lee Valley Hockey & Tennis Centre, which provides the chance to watch Girls Hockey teams and talented Tennis players at the LYG Finals.
The festival is powered by a shared commitment to youth and community from partners including LLDC, Youth Charter, London Marathon Events, GLL, Greater London Authority, Youth Sport Trust, StreetGames and London Sport.
