Abdul's Story

My name is Abdul Wahid and I’m from Tower Hamlets. I’m a councillor in Tower Hamlets as well as a PE teacher. 


I’ve been involved with the London Youth Games since the 1990s as a player and a represented a borough, played hockey, and it’s given me so much enjoyment as a youngster, and through that journey to now, I’ve still been involved with the London Youth Games. Currently I’m managing the boys’ hockey team at the London Youth Games.

We’ve had so much positive to take back and hopefully build on this for the coming years.
