LONDON YOUTH GAMES AND CHAOTIC COMMUNITY EXTEND PARTNERSHIP TO PROVIDE IMPROVED ACCESS TO INCLUSIVE SPORTS FOR YOUNGSTERS WITH SEND
Today, the London Youth Games Foundation and Chaotic Community are delighted to announce that their innovative strategic partnership that focusses on providing improved access to inclusive sports for young people with special education needs and disabilities (SEND) has been extended for a further year, until the end of the 2027 London Youth Games season.
The collaboration between London Youth Games and Chaotic Community began in September 2025 and thanks to the incredible support of Chaotic Community since, London Youth Games has successfully delivered an extensive programme of dedicated inclusive sporting events over the last twelve months, providing thousands of young Londoners with SEND with the opportunity to benefit from the positive impact of sport and physical activity.
2027 is a special year for the London Youth Games, as the Foundation celebrates its 50th anniversary. To date, more than 2 million young Londoners from across all 33 boroughs of London have enjoyed competing in the Games, with a special year of the Golden Games set to celebrate a half-century of the Foundation making a positive impact on young people’s lives.
The extension of the London Youth Games and Chaotic Community partnership allows the Games’ inclusive sports programme to undergo a significant expansion across 2026 and 2027, with more inclusive events planned into the calendar, providing even more opportunities for youngsters with SEND to get active through sport and physical activity – a fitting way to mark the 50th anniversary of the Games.
The partnership will continue to focus on boosting engagement in targeted schools and communities, inclusion youth clubs, inclusive sport clubs and Disability Peoples Organisations (DPO’s) to drive participation and engagement in the London Youth Games inclusive sports programme.
Speaking of Chaotic Community extending their commitment to the London Youth Games Foundation, Chief Executive, Katie Berry, commented:
