London Youth Games kicks off 2026 with Trampolining and Squash events
The London Youth Games 2026 season got underway on 24th January at Sobell Leisure Centre with a day of competition in trampolining and squash.
Hundreds of young participants took part in the LYG Trampolining event, competing across Novice, Intermediate, Expert and Para categories and performing routines filled with twists, somersaults and aerial skills.
Alongside this, borough teams from across London competed in the LYG Squash qualifiers, working together in mixed teams as they aimed to progress through the competition to become borough champions.
Through sporting events like these, London Youth Games Foundation supports over 10,000 young people across London every year, delivering opportunities across 37 sports in all 33 boroughs.
