London Youth Games Launch Partnership with Rosterfy
Today (15th March), London Youth Games launches a brand new volunteer platform powered by Rosterfy. This system will allow an enhanced experience for volunteers whilst expanding the capability for London Youth Games to continue developing the GamesForce community. This partnership contributes to LYG’s strategic priority of creating a 1st class experience not only for participants but for our workforce too.
GamesForce is London Youth Games volunteering programme for anyone aged 16+. We provide several different roles across Sports (e.g. registration and results), Events (e.g. medal ceremonies, information hubs) or Media (e.g. Photography, Videography, Journalism).
The new GamesForce platform will provide integrated Induction Modules for onboarding volunteers, a streamlined process to apply for opportunities and an online portal where event information is easily accessible at any time. It will also enable Corporate Groups to have increased autonomy in assigning staff members to events and to access general LYG volunteering opportunities.
The partnership will initially last for 1 year during the platform’s pilot phase.
