This weekend saw the culmination of the London Youth Games season as over 5,000 young Londoners, aged 10-18, participated in the London Youth Games Finals Festival. The weekend was delivered in partnership with Nike, Sport England, London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), Lee Valley Regional Park Authority, Greater London Authority (GLA) and Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL).

The two-day event, hosted for the first time across the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, saw young Londoners from all 33 boroughs descend on 5 Olympic legacy venues to compete in sports ranging from athletics, basketball, netball, volleyball, tennis, hockey, table tennis, cycling, BMX, swimming and aquathlon.

Following the weekend, results for two sports are being verified to ensure that accurate results are published. The Jubilee results will be announced this week. The presentation of the prestigious Jubilee trophy as well as the Inner London Borough, Para-Games, Regatta and the Most Improved borough trophies will be awarded at this year’s AGM and stakeholder session on the 18th July, which will be hosted by London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC).

After such a hard fought and close season, results must be fully verified. We thank you for your patience and we look forward to presenting the trophies in two weeks’ time.
