London Youth Games welcomes The Daily Mile to its Finals Festival 2025!

London Youth Games, London Marathon Events and junior parkrun collaborate to encourage children and families to get active together
Join us on Sunday 6th July at the LYG Finals Festival for the Daily Mile!
You and your family can take part in our free, family-friendly course taking place at the iconic Olympic Park, where you can run, walk or wheel for 1 mile whilst having fun with friends or family.
The Daily Mile is a social physical activity, with children running, wheeling, or walking—at their own pace – in the fresh air with friends. The goal is for children to run, jog, or wheel for the full 15 minutes while occasionally walking to catch their breath.
This is the perfect event for first-time runners, families with children and anyone looking to get more active.
When you take part, you’ll get a medal at the Finish Line and participant running bib!

Instructions:
Please report to the registration/check-in desk (also located in Middlesex Way) between 11:00am – 11:40am where you will be given a participant bib and wristband that you must wear throughout the course. We recommend you get there in plenty of time to register and make your way to the start line.
Taking Part with Children?
- Please ensure everyone you’re taking part with have their emergency contact information filled in on the backs of their bib numbers. This is essential so that both you and any children in your care can be identified and reunited should you become separated.
- Children must also wear wristbands with their parent or guardian’s details on.
