LYG announce postponement of School Games events up until Easter holidays.

Due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus (Covid – 19) leading to the withdrawal of schools from our competitions, the challenges of providing a volunteer workforce and our commitment to protecting the welfare and well-being of all those involved in the London Youth Games we are sad to have to inform you of the postponement of the following upcoming events:

Spring Finals – Redbridge Sports and Leisure Centre – Tuesday 24^th and Thursday 26^th March

Handball – Copper Box Arena – 31^st March

Basketball – SCORE – 1^st April

At London Youth Games the safety and well-being of our young people, coaches, officials, volunteers and all attending our events is our priority. I hope that you understand the decision we have taken, and we thank you for your support at what is clearly a very difficult time for many.

We will continue to work closely with the London Organising Committee (LOC) and we will be looking at options to re-schedule and will be back in touch at the earliest opportunity.
