LYG33 Celebrate Their 2020 Heroes And Invite You To Do The Same In New Campaign

Members of the newly-formed LYG33, London Youth Games’ youth ambassador programme, want to highlight and celebrate the people who have made a positive impact this year and invite you to do the same as part of their 2020 Heroes campaign.

2020 Heroes is an opportunity to spotlight and celebrate everybody who has tried to make 2020 as positive as it could be. A 2020 Hero is someone who inspires others with their courage, passion and desire to make a positive change.

Members of the LYG33 have named teachers and sports coaches as their 2020 Heroes as well as public figures including Marcus Rashford for his work campaigning against child poverty and for free school dinners.

Subomi Odanye, London Youth Games’ Youth Engagement Officer, said: “2020 has been a difficult year for young people in London. Rather than focusing on the negatives we want to end the year by spreading some positivity. There’s been so many people doing incredible things to help us get through 2020 and this is our chance to give them some recognition.”

LYG33 invite you to share your 2020 Heroes. Simply post a video on social media explaining who your 2020 Hero is and why you have chosen them using #ThisIsLYG. Help us end the year by spreading some positivity and celebrate the people who have made a difference.
