INDOOR ROWING

A rowing machine is a machine used to simulate the action of watercraft rowing and has become established as a sport in its own right. The London Youth Games competition takes place every year during the Summer Finals week at Crystal Palace National Sport Centre.

FUN FACT

Rowing for Sport Began in 1828 with the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge who ran the first ‘boat race’ and it’s become an annual tradition that continues to this day.

GET in touch to compete

To get involved in open competitions, you will need to contact the Borough Team Organiser (BTO) in your borough or via the LYG App where you can register your interest.

Only a BTO or nominated Team Manager can enter a team into a competition. A borough can enter any number of Borough/ Open/ Schools competitions with a maximum of 1 team per competition.
