The London Youth Games Foundation Appoints Katie Berry as Chief Executive

The London Youth Games Foundation is delighted to confirm the appointment of Katie Berry as Chief Executive Officer, following her successful tenure as Interim CEO over the past six months.

Katie has already played a pivotal role in leading the organisation through an important transitional period, helping to shape its strategic direction, strengthen partnerships and ensure that the Games continue to inspire and engage thousands of young Londoners each year.

With extensive experience in sport, youth and community development, Katie brings both passion and expertise to the role. She has overseen innovative new programmes, supported the delivery of the Games’ landmark 50th anniversary activities and reinforced the organisation’s commitment to inclusion, participation and sporting excellence for every young Londoner.

Geoff Thompson, Chair of the London Youth Games Foundation, said: “Katie has shown outstanding leadership, vision, and dedication during her time as Interim CEO, and the LYG Board are delighted to confirm her as the permanent Chief Executive of the London Youth Games. Her ability to inspire confidence, build strong partnerships and keep young people at the heart of everything we do ensures that she is the right leader to take the Games forward in the years ahead.”
