Kayak Slalom is the ultimate challenge testing speed, agility and precision against the force of nature such as roaring waters, eddies, swirlers and stoppers.
The paddlers must navigate through a sequence of gates in order over challenging rapids, waves, eddies and currents on a stretch of whitewater. The gates consist of pairs of poles, if the paddler touches a pole or misses a gate altogether then penalty seconds are added to their timed run.
