There are more than 60 SGOs who work across the capital to support schools in their borough.
Their key role is to coordinate appropriate competitive opportunities for all young people from Key Stage 2-4. They also recruit, train and deploy a suitable workforce, and to support the development of club opportunities for all young people.
All London Youth Games events are governed by our Code of Conduct. Its a good idea to share this with your team and anyone wishing to be involved with the day.
In 2017, LYG launched its Respect the Games campaign which aims to celebrate all that makes London’s Youth great by encouraging all competitors to live up to the values of Fairness, Ambition, Inclusion and Respect during all London Youth Games competitions.
